The 24th Colombo International Book Fair (CIBF) is one of the most important cultural-literary events in Sri Lanka. It was opened on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall with the presence and speech of Dr. Susil Premajayantha, President of the Sri Lanka Publishers Association, other political and cultural officials, and diplomats residing in Colombo.

 

The Cultural Centre of the Islamic Republic of Iran participated in this important cultural-literary event with more than 250 book titles in various fields of culture, art, religion, history, children, and teenagers in Sinhala, Tamil, and English languages and photo albums of painting, calligraphy, and drawing. 

 

The presented works were well received by visitors, especially Muslims, students, and the youth generation.
